Water That Gives Life: In the villages where we carry the Gospel, clean water doesn’t exist. The only water for drinking, cooking, and washing comes from ponds and rivers shared with animals, birds, and sometimes things no child should ever see—snakes, frogs, lizards, even dead rats floating downstream. The same water people drink is where they bathe and wash clothes. It’s contaminated. And it’s all they have. Because of this, children wake up with fevers, stomach pain, and open sores that won’t heal. Adults grow weak from waterborne diseases. And too many lives are lost—not to war, not to famine, but simply because there was no clean water in the village. It breaks our hearts to watch. That’s why we carry a heavy burden to dig borewells in these forgotten places. To bring water that is safe, clean, and life-giving. Water that means a child can drink without fear, a mother can cook without worry, and a whole village can hope again. By God’s grace, we’ve been able to dig one borewell at our missions base. But it’s not enough. There are many more villages—villages where we’ve planted local churches—where the need is desperate. The cost and scale of this work is beyond what we can do alone. It feels overwhelming. But we believe that when God moves on a heart, no need is too big. If He stirs you to help, we would be honored to partner with you in this noble cause.
